AUGUST 2012

Viva Las Vegas (a lovely lip color by NARS BTW)! Okay – so its not an exotic vacation, but I’m still ridiculously excited to be hitting Sin City with a few fabulous friends, sans husbands and kids no less! We’re staying at the beautiful ARIA Resort & Casino, which is an enormous step up from the comforts of the California Hotel & Casino, which is the only place I’ve stayed in (all 3x I’ve been to Vegas). I’m sure a lot has changed since my last jaunt in 2005.
While I’m certain our stay will include an enormous amount of great food, hot clubs and Maestro Dobel tequila – I’m also looking forward to checking out INGLOT (pronounced Ing-lot, not In-glow like I thought – LOL) and Sephora in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. The last time I was in Vegas, I bought a $235 bottle of Bond No.9 Chinatown (gorgeous) with my small Roulette winnings from the Saks in Fashion Show Mall. I’ll be looking for another luxury buy this time too (maybe I’ll hit Mega Bucks and buy Sephora. LOL.)
I’m anxiously preparing my travel bag and will post my Vegas kit as soon as I finalize it!
Stay tuned for the LUCKY MONSTER Giveaway that will launch toward the end of the month – I’ll be picking up some Vegas goodies (Inglot?)! (Pictured: Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow in Rainbow 111R)

← Dev and me at the Bellagio (I think) in Vegas (2005?). LOL.
Happy Faces!

NARS Foreplay Blush Palette ($49, sephora.com). It’s Orgasm deconstructed – matte peach, pink, shimmering gold and the iconic shade in one chic palette. Gimme. Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool ($22, sephora.com). This brilliant “tool” allows you to get a clean tight line – which creates the illusion of fuller lashes – in one simple eyeliner pen. CLARISONIC ‘Blue Aruba Opal™’ ($185, nordstrom.com). One of my favorite beauty tools gets a makeover! I swear this is Cosmetic Monster Blue…Deborah Lippmann ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ Glitter Nail Color ($18, nordstrom.com). I know fashion magazines say not to wear glitter nail polish – but this purple and rainbow glitter infusion makes me smile. So who cares what they say!

TATCHA Luminous Dewy Skin Mist ($48 for 1.35 fl.oz.). I literally just purchased this travel friendly mist to take with me on my Vegas vacation. While I’m in Vegas, my already sensitive, combination skin always reacts and becomes itchy, red and very dry. The effects of their harsh weather, over exposure to air conditioning, alcohol consumption (ahem) and late nights lasts for weeks.
Dewy Skin Mist goes beyond traditional facial mists (which can actually add to dehydration) and is actually a liquid moisturizer rich in Okinawan red algae and hyaluronic acid. This step is meant to be used after cleansing and prior to facial treatments.
I’ll be primarily using Tatcha products during my 3 day trip – although I frequently use the entire line between product testing and love the results. I’m positive that my experience with the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist will be no different.
Want to try Tatcha? Pick up the Beginning The TATCHA Sampler Set ($48). ![]()

Wow! Have a ball, pal! Can’t wait to see what you buy!
Hi, re cosmetics, do you have any ideas on how to create the cateye look with eyeliner? I have tried many but been not very successful unfortunately.
Thank-you!
