Its no secret that I love Sircuit Skin and for good reason. I didn’t get around to reviewing the original formulation of Sircuit Skin I.Cee U. but can report that I scraped the 1.5 ml. sample clean and have been longing for a full size ever since. Now Sircuit Skin has taken the already fantastic I.Cee U. and added a + – Supercharged!
Generally speaking, eye gels have left my tired, dry, nearly 40 eyes wanting something creamy. While dry, fine lines are somewhat of an issue, my most prominent eye area concern is (play evil music here) – SAGGING. Yes boys and girls, we are playing the genetics card.
I love my Momma, but I am a nearly carbon copy of her and therefore have a blueprint of what’s to come. At 60+, my Mom looks great. She works out, eats right (except for an occasional chocolate binge) and for someone who lives in Hawaii, stayed out the sun. BUT, there’s a issue with less that cooperative eyelids and the ability to burst into spontaneous tears. So – my course of action now that 40 is looming, is to work out, eat properly (Chia anyone?) and to voraciously attack my eyelids with the best arsenal of products and preventative measures short of a knife – and no Botox for me, thank you.
I.Cee U and I.Cee U+ both have a slightly thick gel texture that leaves a comforting film on the skin – it doesn’t disappear like other eye gels. While it works fine in the AM under makeup, I prefer to harness its de-puffing, de-sagging, de-every-eye-area-issue powers in the PM while skin is in rest mode. While I haven’t used this product long term, I can confidently report that within the 2 week period of using these samples, my eyes appeared more fresh, more awake, more-not-the-eyes-of-a-mother-of-2.
Possibly the most noted ingredient in both formulas is Centella Asiatica (bulkactives.com), an exotic plant that may boost collagen, reduce fine lines/wrinkles, cellulite and assist in wound healing – which was brought to my attention in Cosmetics 27 products.

WHAT MAKES IT SUPERCHARGED? The new + version does include Green and Kombuchka (Black Tea) which are known for their antioxidant properties, the anti-aging benefits of Orange Peel Oil and the many skin care benefits of Tumeric.
So is Sircuit Skin Supercharged I.Cee U.+ really “Made Better”? Yes. The 2.0 version of this wonderful anti-everything-undesirable-in-the-eye-area gel remained true to the benefits of the original with desirable additions of green tea, black tea, orange peel oil and tumeric. It didn’t noticeably perform better – although in the long run the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of the newly added ingredients should ward off aging more effectively.
