QUICK REVIEW: I’ve never really been impressed with Lancome skin care (except for Bi-Facils) but their newest crop of products have recaptured my attention. Dreamtone Customized Skin Tone Correcting Serum utilizes Hydroxyphenoxy Propionic Acid (also found in Algenist Concentrated Reconstructing Serum) to remove surface pigmentation and inhibits melanin transfer – which may lead to the appearance of more luminous, even toned skin if used consistently for 8 weeks. The serum is lightweight and immediately gives skin a lovely glow.
Will I be dropping $98? Since dark spots and pigmentation issues are the core of my complexion concerns, I already use a good Vitamin C product and the Algenist serum which uses the same Hydroxyphenoxy Propionic Acid that Dreamtone does. However, my interest and curiosity are piqued, the immediate brightening during my “hand test” was impressive and this would make a nice AM treatment option under makeup. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a sample to test, but I’ll have to put this on my wish list for now and see what the consumer reviews begin to report.
