the REVIEW (Original Post: 08/31/10): I received a few samples of Suki Targeted Bio-Brightening Serum to review but had to purchase a full size because I loved it so much! This is one of the most exciting products I’ve tried in a long time. Besides Arbutin, which is a common skin lightening agent, the Songyi Mushroom or Matsutake Mushroom (also known as the Golden Mushroom or Diamond in the Woods) adds a new dimension to battling skin discoloration and melanin production. LOL – They have a festival celebrating this Asian mushroom in Korea!

Its a very lightweight liquid serum that instantly absorbs into the skin without any detectable residue. Application involved applying 1 generous drop right after misting with the Suki Concentrated Balancing Toner, delicately massaging into the skin while focusing on problem areas. The Suki Facial Lift Ultimate Firming Cream is the usual companion to this serum. Within a few days of regular use AM (with either the Suki Intensive Nourishing Cream, Suki Facial Lift or Murad Clean Scene Begging for Balance Oil Free Moisturizer) and PM (exclusively with Suki Facial Lift) – my skin is calm, smooth and even toned.

My expectations are realistic – I don’t believe it will conquer the sun spots on my cheeks…I earned those with years of surfing (with sunblock – but I’m Asian…we spot). However, my skin is much more youthful when I’m using this product. It is one of my favorite serums.
