RICE FORCE MAKEUP REMOVER

“Completely purifying makeup remover.” – Rice Force

PRODUCT RATING: ★★★★★★★☆☆ (8/10)

the REVIEW (05/05/2011): Rice Force Makeup Remover is a unique product that I’ve only experienced with RICE FORCE MAKEUP REMOVER $35Japanese skin care. It has a thick gel texture (almost like Vaseline – but clear) that starts out feeling heavy – but as you massage it into DRY skin, as it works it emulsifies into an oil and rinses away with warm water. Rice Force Makeup Remover has a slight chemical smell upon application, but it isn’t strong or overpowering. Out of all the Rice Force products, I liked this the least (I still liked it) – but it was still a solid product and may be good for those who don’t wear a lot of makeup.

the RESULTS: The reason this didn’t quite make the mark for me is I tend to wear little (just waterproof mascara) or lots of eye makeup. Rice Force Makeup Remover did not remove my heavier eye makeup – but since there were only 2 small sample packets which yielded a single application, I couldn’t experiment with different techniques. I may have been able to perfect the application after a few more tries. Normally I like to use a cleansing oil, and this had a similar effect but was much easier to use since it was like a “solid” oil – so there was no dripping.

Overall, Rice Force Makeup Remover was a fun and useful product for initial makeup removal – making cleansing more effective and thorough. This is perfect for those who wear light makeup or sunblock – although heavier eye makeup may require an additional application or separate eye makeup remover.

RICE FORCE MAKEUP REMOVER DETAILS:
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Make Up Remover is formulated with Rice Power Extract No.2, so it easily dissolves and lifts away impurities and makeup yet is gentle to the skin. The gel-type Make Up Remover instantly binds to makeup and impurities for easy removal without dehydrating, for a refreshingly clean and supple finish.
HOW TO APPLY: Squeeze a small amount (about 1/2 inch) into the palm of your warm, dry hands and gently smooth over your dry face until it glides easily. When makeup melts away, add water to emulsify into a milky-white liquid, then rinse away.
* A thin layer of film forms when handled by wet hands, making it difficult to apply Make Up Remover. Always handle with dry hands, and store in a cool, dark, dry place.
