PRODUCT RATING: ★★★★★★★★★★(10/10)
PRICE DETAILS: $36 for 1oz. (Plastic pump bottle)

QUICK REVIEW: An absolute MUST for the perpetually shiny and pore challenged. No parabens.
PRE-REVIEW: I’ve been searching for a primer that will keep my t-zone from getting oily throughout the day since I don’t like to use too much oil control powder since it makes my skin look – powdery. Imagine that. I tried the NARS Pro-Prime Pore Refining Primer, which did a great job keeping me relatively shine free and smoothed over the appearance of my pores. I’m still curious about the Boscia though! (Featured NEW PRODUCT in Beauty Roars!)
the REVIEW (08/30/2011): Up to this point, products that have claimed to control oil and minimize pores have left me unimpressed, shiny and with clogged pores. While I normally shy away from products with silicones, Boscia No Pores No Shine T-Zone Treatment has continuously left me with relatively less obvious pores and noticeably less shine. What’s different about it? I’m not sure, but it works so I’m not going to question it too much.
At a reasonable $36 for a full ounce, you only need to use the size of a small pea to cover your entire t-zone. I concentrate on my nose, inner cheek area around the nose, between my brows and chin. It has a light silicone/lotion texture with no discernible scent that disappears rather quickly and weightlessly – leaving you to wonder if its doing anything. Trust me, it is. I’ve used it over moisturizer, in place of moisturizer, under various foundations (powder, mineral, liquid, cream), and over oily skin or makeup. It works no matter how you apply it. What I found particularly impressive is it does not “build up” or ball on the skin. Unlike traditional primers or oil control products, this doesn’t feel drying or like you have another layer of product. To the contrary, my skin feels more fresh, looks smoother and my makeup lasts substantially longer as well. There is a definite difference that I can feel and see when I forget to apply this in the morning.
the RESULTS: No matter what they say, there is no “cure” for large pores. You can minimize their appearance – and Boscia No Pores No Shine T-Zone Treatment is the best I’ve tried thus far. This product helps me to achieve a near poreless look and definitely keeps excessive oil at bay without looking or feeling dry and flaky. Another big plus? No clogged pores.
the FINAL ROAR!: I’m thoroughly impressed with this product and it has become one of the few products I MUST use when I do my makeup. Greasies be gone!
