There are few products that stand the test of time. Lancôme Savon Fraîchelle Invigorating Body Cleansing Gel ($29) is one of those products that always delivers the fresh, floral and literally green scent that reminds me of showering after hitting the waves in my 20’s. Now that I’m in my late 30’s, the bright green gel is perfect for waking me up after a rough night (with my kids, not tequila) or after a work out.
I wish this came in a giant bottle with a pump!!
←Nails INC. Magnetic Polish in Trafalgar Square ($16). Similar to Lancome’s Le Magnetique from several years ago, Nails Inc. introduces this clever polish which uses iron powder to create a unique “secret” nail design with the included magnet. A great way to break up the heaviness of chromed polish.
→LUSH Chocolala Massage Bar ($12.95). I love anything chocolate and I love LUSH. This new dark chocolate and violet concoction (there’s real chocolate in it!) can be used as a body moisturizer, as a luxurious massage oil or apply a small dab on fly away hairs! Pair this with LUSH It’s Raining Men Shower Gel or Honey I Washed the Kids for deliciously creamy and sweetly scented skin.
I’m still using the Yoka Soap, La Mer The Moisturizing Gel Cream and The Radiant Serum, but added in Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil ($11.99 for 7.8oz.) to my routine to remove makeup. This used to be a regular part of my skin care, but I haven’t used one in about 6 months. What a difference! My skin instantly felt cleaner, smoother and my pores cleared up in a few days. This is my favorite since it rinses clean, removes waterproof eye makeup without burning (although my eyes get cloudy if it gets in my eyes) and the refills are only $9.99! Available at webichi.com and Don Quiote stores.
Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil Ingredients: oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, mineral oil, sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, triethyl hexanoine, cyclomethicone, orange oil, tocopherol, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, glycerin, polyglyceryl-2 diisostearate, trilaureth-4 phosphate, water, phenoxyethanol
Origins Plantscription Eye Treatment ($42.50) is on the top of my shopping list! Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging serums is one of my top 5 favorite skin care products (read review) and I have high hopes for the coordinating eye cream. The key ingredient, Anogeissus is supposed to visible help repair crow’s feet, under eye cross hatching, crepey lids and sagginess (that’s me) without irritation. Plus its under $50. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
