NEW! Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude Product Introduction & Mini Review
Treats o’ Treats? Happy Halloween! Sephora by OPI Glimmer Wonderland Eighteen Piece Mini Nail Colour Set ($48 | $81 value) offers a candy colored but calorie free way to indulge in over a year’s worth of polis
h trends.
This Limited Edition Shu Uemura Wrex+ Brightening Cleansing Oil Advanced Formula ($80) is wickedly cool and will give you clean, luminous skin to boot. The entire Wong Kar Wai holiday collection reads like works of art – and house gloriously innovative shades that you expect from Shu Uemura.
Little Pig, Little Pig, Let Me In!!! Happy Halloween! This year, I’ll be appearing as the Big Bad Wolf – complimenting my little piggy. I bought the fuzzy
hat from eBay and squeezed into the size SM jacket I got 7 years ago – just glad it still fit.
If there’s any occasion to wear ridiculous false lashes, Halloween is one of them. I kept the shadow clean and shimmery for contrast (M·A·C’s NEW Glitter and Ice Paint Pot in Let’s Skate ($18.50) – a sheer glittery pink pearl), used lots of black eye liner and applied a black feathered Shu Uemura pair of lashes. Bronzed cheeks and sheer red lips finished my Halloween look.
←NEW! Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Skin Cleansing System ($149). Almost every beauty magazine and editor swears by Clarisonic sonic cleansing brushes. Now, their wildly popular (and candy colored) Mia comes in an upgraded version that offers two speeds and a one-minute pulsing T-Timer. I also recommend picking up a Deep Pore Brush Head ($25) which is best for getting around the nose area and for clearing out large pores. It made me love my Clarisonic even more!
→Laura Mercier The Book of Nudes ($48 | $93 value). Glorious!! Leave it to Laura Mercier to create the perfect natural palette – including three lovely face veils to complete a glowing holiday face. Every neutral shadow from mattes to lusters to all out shimmers, are complimented by Laura’s signature Tightline Cake Eye Liner in Ground Espresso (deep black brown). Compliment your neutral shadows with the blackened jewel tones in the Laura Mercier Mini Kohl Eye Pencil Set ($32 | $67 value).
NOW Rose Hip Seed Oil ($6.99). Rose Hip Seed Oil is naturally rich in vitamin C, retinol, omega 3 & 6 and is used for a variety of skin conditions including dermatitis, acne, eczema, sunburn, scarring and for diminishing photo-aging. All I did was add the tiniest bit around my tired, dry eye area and it made a world of difference.
I’ve tried to use several different facial oils and I normally can’t resist the urge to wash my face. The benefits of using natural oils is undeniable and using them just in the areas of concern is a great way to avoid feeling greasy. Even with the extra layer of oil, I was still able to apply makeup over the area without it affecting the look or wear. I will definitely start experimenting more with this oil!
Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Re-Creation Eye Balm and Re-Creation Night Serum for Eyes ($400) is a 24 hour synergistic system that takes anti-aging eye care to a whole new level.
The Night Serum for Eyes has a unique texture that infuses the eye area with a luxury blend of Amazon Acai Nut Oil, African Moringa Oil, Tahitian Monoi Oil plus 6 rejuvenating essences to give eyes new smoothness, luminosity and softness.
