NAKED2 PALETTE BY URBAN DECAY
This NEW palette from the second company to innovate the NAKED concept (the first being Kevyn Aucoin for Ultima II in the 90’s) is sure to be sold out by this afternoon and selling on eBay for 3x its $50 price tag by the weekend. I jumped on the bandwagon and snapped one up – if only to review for Cosmetic Monster.
Foxy – Matte light beige
Half Baked – Subtle lustrous bronze
Booty Call – Champagne frost
Chopper – Coppery fawn with silver microglitter
Tease – Matte Greige
Snakebite – Bronzed brown shimmer
Suspect – Antique gold shimmer
Pistol – Warm medium gunmetal shimmer
Verve – Light warm silver shimmer
YDK – Bronzed mocha with golden microgitter
Busted- Antique bronze/gunmetal shimmer
Black Out – Darkest, most saturated black
If you already own the original Naked Palette – there still area few colors in this palette to get excited about. I love that it has a neutral matte shade to use as a base and Black Out – a dark black, which will undoubtedly be used quite a bit since I like smokey eyes. Otherwise there isn’t a huge difference in colors as compared to the original – but still an awesome deal since the shadows are full sized and priced at $17 each.
A bit more neutral but still heavily shimmered, Urban Decay’s Naked2 will likely sell out based on the original’s popularity and likely reel in a lot of new fans. I’m still hoping Naked3 will be dominantly matte.
