BirchBox offered an optional Teen Vogue version this month in place of the regular Birchbox and I’m glad I chose to go for it! I would have loved to try the One Love Organics Skin Savior Waterless Beauty Balm which was available in some of the regular boxes – but the Teen Vogue box is quite delightful and Eva Chen’s party-ready picks will even appeal to those who are long past their teens.
Note: I wish I would get my boxes a bit earlier to review, but
CONTENTS: Kate Spade New York Twirl (Sample Vial | Full Size $80/3.4fl.oz.). Fruity floral with a cheerful flirty vibe. A very youthful fragrance that would be lovely during the warmer months ahead.
Kerastase Elixir Ulitme (Sample Size | Full Size $54/125ml.). A lightweight elixir fortified with four essential oils to leave all hair types shiny and healthy. A few drops leaves even my lackluster hair aglow and smells wonderful too.
Twistband Hair Ties (One tie | Full Size $10/6 bands). Super cute ties keep hair secure without snagging or creasing locks. I got a light pink one that I wear around my wrist on occasion.
Essie Luxeffects Nail Polish in A Cut Above (Full Size $8). DBP, toulene and formaldehyde-free way to add some bling to your mani-pedi. The shade I received was As Gold as it Gets which was a medium yellow gold flecked glitter. Not my thing, but would add (more) personality to the season’s brights.
Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint in Lucky (Full Size $24). User-friendly chubby lip pencils are a goofproof way to lasting, moisturizing color. Lucky is a semi-matte light pink, which isn’t a color I would wear very often, but these (other shades available) are great to throw in your bag for a pretty quick lip.
