QUICK REVIEW: Bobbi’s palettes, even those dominated by browns and neutrals, tend to lean more toward the ashy brown/grey side. RICH CHOCOLATE EYE PALETTE still has a slice of ashy brown (Stone) but includes a warmer mid-tone brown/beige (Frappe) and a glorious, brightening shimmery warm pink/beige (Champagne Truffle) – which definitely should become a permanent shade.
The shadows vary in pigmentation – the brown mattes being the most pigmented, with Caramel Sparkle leaning decidedly toward the sheer side. The intensities work well for each shade’s function and while they aren’t intense – they layer beautifully without getting muddy like higher pigmented shades tend to do.
While this may not be a visually exciting palette – it is a universally flattering collection of neutrals that can be used on every skin tone to create a variety of looks. I consider this a must-have for Fall.
(L-R)Bone (matte off white), Stone (matte medium ash brown), Frappe (matte medium ash beige with touch of warmth), Caramel Sparkle (sheer silvery brown with touch of warmth), Champagne Truffle (shimmering warm pink beige), Cocoa (matte warm ashy brown), Rich Chocolate (matte dark rich brown).
Champagne Truffle on lid and lower lash line, Frappe in crease, Mahogany Long Wear Eyeliner, Rich Chocolate to soften liner, Caramel Sparkle as accent.
