Guinness Braised Short Ribs + Left Over Idea
During a Mommy trip to Vegas, I had the most delicious Guiness Braised Short Rib Lasagna at Fleur by Hubert Keller (Mandalay Bay – shown left). Since we don’t get to jaunt over to Vegas very often (if ever – that was my first time in almost 8 years), I made a peasant version of the incredibly flavorful dish. Eat the short ribs with starch the first night and enjoy the super fast lasagna the next.
The Fleur version of the lasagna has a red wine sauce, Parmesan (which you can easily add) and spinach – which would elevate the nutrition. I may try to incorporate these ingredients next time. I’m also going to start an edible mini garden so I can have all those lovely garnishes!
