PRODUCT RATING: ★★★★★★★★★★ (10/10)
This natural color-enhancer brings a touch of dark mystery for feminine and romantic lips. Its pigments react with the skin’s pH, thus its color evolves differently on each woman. The stick looks black, but always leaves a transparent bitten effect.
TEXTURE & SCENT: Gel-like gloss texture that isn’t sticky or waxy. The scent is a light fruity-floral – pleasant, but may be a bit much for those who prefer unscented products.
SHADE REVIEWED: 62 Noir Révélateur
QUICK REVIEW: I’ve been searching for the perfect sheer berry lip for decades (really). Most deep sheer tones were too red/plum, didn’t apply smoothly or didn’t last. Givenchy Rouge Interdit Magic Lipstick 62 Révélateur looks like a smokey black in the tube – but transforms to a magnificent sheer blackberry when applied. It boosts my natural lip color without looking reddish or too purple. Lips look smooth, moisturized and feel comfortable. Simply joyous!
Granted, it doesn’t last “all day” but the loveliness gently fades and is a snap to reapply without needing a lip pencil. This has become my go-to lip color and works well on an otherwise bare face or paired with a smokey eye. While I consider this the ultimate Fall lip color – this shade would transition well during warmer months as well.
I really like this product but cannot find anywhere. Any ideas?
