Key Ingredients:  RHSO (Rose Hips Seed Oil) The natural compounds in RHSO result in not only deeply nourished skin, but a smoother and more refined feeling skin texture, even after just one use. In fact, RHSO is shown to generally have a higher content of essential fatty acids than other natural oils such as argan and grapeseed oil. And because RHSO is a dry oil, it is highly absorbent with a silky finish. (Source: msteves.com)

Quick Review: Rose Hip Seed Oil is my favorite facial oil for smoothing, firming and beautifying skin. It also soothes irritation and can be added successfully to other skin care products and foundation.

LOVELY HEADER 2

THE REVIEWI’ve been a big fan of facial oils for a while now, even if I have borderline oily skin and prone to breakouts. Rose Hip Seed Oil in particular is one of my favorites and has been the most successful at refining the look of my skin all around. When I found M. Steves Skin Care, which is based around the renewing properties of Rose Hip Seed Oil (RHSO) – I was very excited and hopeful that it would take my skin to the next level.

A Little About RHSO – Rose Hip Seed Oil (RHSO), derived from the seeds of rose bushes native to the Andes mountains of South America, is the signature global ingredient in the M. Steves RHSO Power-Packed line of products. RHSO has long been heralded as the “youth in a bottle” for its skin rejuvenating and anti-aging properties. (Source: msteves.com)

The first time I tried Rose Hip Seed Oil was NOW Rose Hip Seed OIl. I read that it was good for rosacea, acne and eczema – which are all concerns of mine. One of my other favorite oils is Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Vitamin C Youth Activating Oil ($45, sephora.com) which combines RHSO with citrus oils. While these are both wonderful products, I’ve been the most successful with M.Steves Ultra Nourshing Boost. Its more refined that the NOW and simpler than Pure Truth.

M.STEVES MULTI-BENEFIT MOISTURIZERTrying to convince someone with oily skin to use a facial oil is very difficult and understandably so. If you have oily skin or prone to acne, start by using it at night. Just pat a tiny bit around the areas that you have fine lines. Skin is softer, smoother and calm in the morning. Those who prefer a more traditional cream, may want to try the M.Steves Multi-Benefit Moisturizer ($46, msteves.com) which includes RHSO in a lightweight cream base – gentle enough to use around the eyes. You can also add a few drops of the Boost to the Moisturizer, other creams/lotions, foundation and even to your under eye concealer (just a touch).

Whatever way you choose to use it, your skin will be glowing glowing glowing in a matter of days. Its so gently, I use it on my kids cheeks when they get dry, their eczema (healing stage) and under my eyes. I’ve tried many different oils and combinations or oils – but this is one of my favorites for everyday use. Its a bit pricey at $64, but the pump bottle makes it easy to dispense and you use so little per application, a bottle could easily last you at least 6-8 months moderate daily use.

M.Steves Ultra Nourishing Boost is addictive and delivers reliable results quickly. All skin types can benefit from the RHSO and adding the Multi-Benefit Moisturizer creates a simple, customizable skin care routine that covers all skin woes. Gives results better than other products 3x their price.
