TATCHA LUMINOUS DEEP HYDRATION FIRMING EYE SERUM  This weightless serum of Okinawa Red Algae, Honeysuckle Leaf and Caffeine offers instantly-visible firming, reduced puffiness, and plumping hydration to diminish fine lines.  (source: tatcha.com)

Experience/Skin Type: Light serum texture. Ceramic applicator enhances cooling and reduces puffiness. All skin types. Non-comedogenic. Non-irritating. Non-sensitizing. Dermatologist tested. Ophthalmologist tested.

Quick Review: This lightweight eye serum felt deliciously refreshing on tired mornings – but needed a boost from an eye cream for drier skin. An excellent option for AM use or layering. Works well under makeup.

Tatcha Product Reviews

The eyes never lie. They tell the world if you were up binge watching Criminal Minds on Netflix, if your baby decided that 3am was party time or if you took Mom’s Night Out a little too far.

Finding the right eye cream has proven to be far more difficult than any skin care category. The challenge of finding one that doesn’t make your eyes tear, itch or puff up can make even the most seasoned cosmetic monster freak out.

As much as I love Tatcha products – I honestly did not expect too much from this eye serum. I’ve been very happy with the Fresh Black Tea Eye Concentrate that I haven’t strayed from it for a couple years. However, when Tatcha sent me this to try, the cooling ceramic applicator had me at hello.

Cool is right. I’m pretty fortunate that at 43 I don’t have very many wrinkles around my eyes. Asian skin tends to sag vs. wrinkle – and that’s where I am right now. Still – the plumping effects of this eye serum is pretty immediate and crushed any fine lines I have. The best benefit is how well it did on taking down temporary puffiness. If you are challenged with puffiness caused by genetics – products like this might minimize the appearance of bags, but nothing will get rid of them completely. A hard truth – but it had to be said. Doing some creative contouring concealer can help you here.

Skin Care ReviewsMONSTER TIP: Squeeze a tiny bit out and mix it with your creamy concealer to thin it out. If you have dark circles or under eye issues, you don’t want to add a heavy layer of concealer over it. Use a peach/bisque correcting shade on the darkest part of your eye and a lighter shade under the bag if you have one. Use a slightly damp sponge to blend.

TATCHA LUMINOUS DEEP HYDRATION FIRMING EYE SERUM is a lightweight serum that brightens tired eyes with the help of an addicting, cooling ceramic applicator. It easily plumped fine lines and temporary puffiness were no match for this product. While hydrating enough for oilier or younger skin – there was the need to layer a creamier product over it for PM use or for drier more mature skin types.
